this lucky little guy got his first bloody nose today,
courtesy of his big brother and the train he chucked at him
this level of brother brutality is rare, but does nonetheless occasionally occur

he loves to play peek-a-boo and always laughs when anyone peek-a-boo's him
his hand on his face in the above picture is his effort at peek-a-booing back

the finger in the mouth is due to and highly anticipated top teeth that have yet to pop through
although we know they're coming because they've been waking him up at 1 AM for the last week

he's going to be a little skeleton for halloween
fitting since he's so very chubby

he rolls and scoots all around in pursuit of toys or anything else that tickles his fancy
he's just started this week to push himself up into sitting position without any help
and he continues to do his downward dog yoga moves in an effort to figure out how to crawl

he also gets so excited and claps and squeals and is always so happy to see his big brother

he went to the infant room at the gym today for the first time while i worked out
and atticus terrorized the toddler room
when i asked how he did the playroom lady said, "great! he just laid there."
he is M.E.L.L.O.W!

he's always reaching for my jewelery and i had to fish an earring out of his mouth yesterday
which i only noticed because he happen to be stuffing a graham cracker in there as well

as always, he is as charming and darling as they come and we feel so lucky to have him in the family
we love you sweet beck

I cant' believe he is already 8 months old! Holy fast that went.

Beck is darling, but what is the super cute background he is behind? Is that in your house?
